One of the biggest handbag trends of 2024 doesn’t involve a bag itself but a way to make your bag stand out from the crowd. Yes, of course, we’re talking about bag charms. The return and continued rise in popularity of bag charms makes a lot of sense in the current economic climate.
Buying a charm or two is a great way to make your bag stand out from anyone who might also own it. It also allows you to wear one bag in multiple ways. Rather than investing in a new bag entirely, a few interchangeable charms can completely makeover your bag.
The Spring 2024 runway shows and collections were full of charming (pun intended) inspiration. With quiet luxury and minimalism taking over last year, it’s nice to see a swift return to fashion’s more fun, whimsical side.
Charmed by Louis Vuitton
While Louis Vuitton has always offered an array of bag accessories that have delighted and enticed collectors over the years, its latest offerings will have you head over heels in love. This season, a collection of eight new bag charms arrives, and they will excite.
Featuring a maxi-sized Vivienne, Louis Vuitton’s iconic mascot since 2017, each charm is fitted with its own personality. Designed to tap into Louis Vuitton’s more youthful, playful side, the Fashionista capsule reimagines the mascot as a style star in her own right.

A Collector’s Dream
Each features a distinct, clear vision, with a bag, jewelry, or clothing of its own, all inspired by the Maison’s most important motifs and brand signifiers. Collectors will want to snag them all, from a Vivienne featuring the revival of Monogram denim to one holding a teeny, tiny LV Twist Bag; each one packs a bit of House History.
Of course, Louis Vuitton’s storied savoir-faire is infused into making these charms, utilizing the Maison’s finest leather and fur. While each charm can be purchased separately, the unique capsule includes a limited-edition Vivienne Fashionista Coffret, developed especially for the eight Vivienne Fashionista bag charms in a unique collectible case.

I’m a long-time Louis Vuitton collector and I think these charms look like garbage. Let’s not even talk about the ridiculous price.
Lol “The return and continued rise in popularity of bag charms makes a lot of sense in the current economic climate” when talking about a $1200 keychain
I was referencing the trend as a whole – not this specific item. Of course the Louis Vuitton way will be pricey, but there are a myriad of options at great price points.
Came here to say the exact same thing haha.
Am I the only one who thinks the legs look like a pair of monogram testies??
Can’t unsee it now 👀
Yes, you are.
Did posting this comment make your feel superior? Pathetic.
I can’t see any value to own it. It’s cute looking though but I rather spend my hard earned money for a nice holiday or just save it
Fendi already did it over 10 years ago 👀
They did with their bag charms and people loved them – I was so excited to get them! I actually fully forgot that I was insane and bought the Karl Lagerfeld one… I need to find it!!
I love vivienne!
