Jacquemus Celebrates 15 Years With La Casa Collection

Let's take a trip to Capri...

Simon Porte Jacquemus has come a long way in the 15 years since founding his namesake label. While the label continues to thrive, expanding in ways that a young Simon could have only imagined, the 34-year-old fashion designer has never wavered from his vision. Jacquemus continues to stray from the ordinary, holding on to the belief that fashion can be experimental and unique but still wearable and unfussy.

It was a sunny, crystal-clear day in Capri Monday when Jacquemus presented his Fall 2024 collection, aptly dubbed La Casa. The show was held at Casa Malaparte, a stunning Italian villa perched on the cliffs of Capri. It was the perfect backdrop for the colorful collection, which featured bold shades of turquoise, red, yellow, and green with pops of zebra print throughout.

Ready-to-wear was a mix of flowy fabrics and shapes juxtaposed with the labels’ distinct tailoring, and while it was subtle, the collection did point towards change. “We are evolving into something new. A new kind of sexiness. Realistic but also minimal,” Porte Jacquemus told Vogue.

As for the bags, there were new takes on old favorites, like the Pochette Rond Carré reinvented with a shoulder strap alongside new shapes like the Le Bambola shopping tote and the very on-trend Le Turismo top handle—the Jacquemus take on a bowling bag.

The collection wowed overall, celebrating a huge milestone for the independent label while simultaneously marking a new era. View highlights from the collection below and discover more from La Casa now via Jacquemus.
